Job Details: Job Type Temporary • Location NW8 9NH • Posting Date 04 March 2024 • Closing Date 03 April 2024 • Salary £47,000 to £50,000 per year. Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Hospital Clinical Pharmacist to join our client's Inpatient Ward service at their acute hospital site in St John's Wood, Central London (Travelcard Zone 1/2). This is a full-time position with a shift pattern covering 8 am - 8 pm Mon-Fri, with weekend rotations.
The hospital, a charity-status center of excellence for over 160 years, boasts 60 inpatient beds, including level three Critical Care, and a state-of-the-art five-suite Operating Theatre complex. The adjoining Hospice provides end-of-life care for 17 inpatients. The Pharmacy, working collaboratively with Consultants, Resident Medical Officers, and nursing staff, ensures a safe, efficient, and comprehensive hospital pharmacy service for Inpatient Wards, Hospice, and Outpatients/Dispensary.
ResponsibilitiesThe role supports inpatient ward pharmacy services and collaborates with hospital staff to ensure safe, effective pharmacotherapy. Responsibilities include contributing to patient care within Inpatient Wards, Hospice, and Outpatients/Dispenser services, under supervision as needed.
Qualifications- Qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPhC
- Minimum 12 months of current or recent hospital Ward experience
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- High level of medical and clinical, spoken and written English
