DC Security Officer

We are currently looking for 2 Security Officers to join the Security Department at our Distribution Centre in Speke. The ideal candidate will be passionate about security and have a good understanding of the industry. We have 2 Night shift positions available. Shift Pattern: - Friday to Monday (48-hour contract) - Saturday to Tuesday (48-hour contract) What can we offer you?

The role of a Distribution Security Officer can be challenging but also rewarding, offering great support. Our ideal candidate will be vigilant, assertive, and a helpful team player with a passion for security.

Responsibilities:

• Control all access to the site
• Book vehicles in and out of the site
• Write incident reports
• Search vehicles and colleagues as required
• Respond quickly to security interventions
• Perform internal and external patrols during shifts
• Complete daily and weekly audits
• Engage in physical activity as required

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

• Experience in a similar role
• Strong written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Data Protection laws and Health & Safety regulations
• Experience in conflict management and incident reporting
• A resilient personality capable of handling challenging situations professionally
• While an SIA Licence is desirable, it is not essential
