Data Test Analyst (AWS & SAS) to join a leading UK brand on a long term contract.

Hybrid, Inside IR35 & long term assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Create test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria for data migration and transformation.
  • Perform data reconciliation and validation between SAS environments.
  • Test ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting outputs.
  • Develop automated validation scripts using SQL, Python, and/or SAS.
  • Support CI/CD test automation.
  • Identify, track, and resolve data and migration defects.
  • Ensure testing meets security, data protection, and governance standards.
  • Support UAT and provide evidence for sign-off.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Test Managers, Developers, and Data Engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in data testing and large-scale migrations.
  • Strong SQL skills for data comparison and profiling.
  • Knowledge of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.x/4.
  • Understanding of ETL and data integration.
  • Experience with Python/SAS test automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
Desirable
  • ISTQB certification.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of AWS and containerised deployments.

Open to candidates who can be onsite in Telford 2 days a week.
