Data Scientist Junior

Data Scientist Junior vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

Clean, organise, and standardise data from diverse sources

Prepare ready-for-use datasets for economists and researchers

Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Interpret and manage data in alignment with research objectives

Your experience/knowledge:

Strong foundation in data science as a Data Scientist/Research Analyst (could consider a candidate who has only done internships, entry level roles)

Proficiency in Python or Matlab

Familiarity with statistical tools and techniques

Solid understanding of economics and financial markets

Language skills: English

Your soft skills:

Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail

A high degree of self-organisation and time management

Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
