Data Scientist- Experimentation -12+ Months- Netherlands

Hi All, We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist/Experimentation Analyst to join an exciting project at a global and prominent Fashion and Retail client for a project in the Netherlands

Scope: You will design, implement, and analyse large-scale A/B and multivariate experiments using PySpark and SQL in a distributed data environment.

What You'll Do

• As a key member of our experimentation team, you will:
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments using PySparkand SQL in a distributed data environment.
• Extract, transform, and validate experiment data, applying geo and territory mappings.
• Aggregate metrics at the session level and automate reporting pipelines.
• Develop and optimize statistical testing frameworks (CTR, CVR, ATC, revenue) using Python, pandas, and scipy.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques including Bonferroni correction, Marascuilo procedure, and Welch's t-test.
• Ensure data quality through de-duplication and outlier handling.
• Integrate experiment assignments from platforms like Adobe Targetand upsert results into Delta Lake
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver actionable insights.

What You Bring:

• Strong proficiency in Python(pandas, numpy, scipy) and PySpark (DataFrame API, Spark SQL).
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis, (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, corrections for multiple comparisons).
• Experience with large-scale data processingand Delta Lake.
• Familiarity with experimentation platforms (eg, Optimizely, Adobe Target) and data validation best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.

• Location: Amsterdam- Hybrid
• Duration: 12months + with extensions
