A not-for-profit organisation based in the north Kent area, offers hybrid working (2 days a week in the office) to an experienced Data Protection Officer.

Your new role
As the Data Protection Officer, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and related regulatory frameworks. You'll be the appointed DPO leading on:

• Data protection strategy and documentation
• Managing DSARs and breach investigations
• Advising senior leaders on data protection requirements and training staff
• Acting as the key contact for the Information Commissioner's Office
• Ensuring compliance with frameworks including STAIRs

This is a high-impact role where your expertise will safeguard the reputation of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection legislation
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Clear and confident communication across all levels
• High ethical standards and integrity
• Experience managing complex priorities
• A relevant data protection qualification (desirable)

Salary of £52000 plus excellent benefits including:
Flexible working options - hybrid working 2 days a week in the office
Excellent holiday allowance starting at 25 days plus 3 days at Christmas and increasing with service.
