Data Protection Lead

Devonshire Hayes have partnered with a great organisation to help them secure a Data Protection Lead. You will be tasked with the following,

You will lead a strategic programme to ensure compliance with the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and related regulations, working closely with Privacy Champions, Data Owners, and IT colleagues to promote a culture of compliance, transparency, and accountability.

• Significant experience in a data protection or privacy role within a multi-entity or regulated environment.
• Expert knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA 2018, PECR, and data sharing/international transfers.
• Strong understanding of privacy in IT infrastructure and vendor agreements.
• Experience updating non-compliant documentation and improving governance frameworks.
• Project management skills and excellent cross-functional communication.
• Relevant privacy certification (eg, CIPP/E, CIPM, or BCS Practitioner in Data Protection).

You will be required to work in the office 3 days per week.
