  • Help shape approaches to handling, processing, storing, sharing, and governing personal data within the platform
  • Review use cases, workflows, and proposed designs to identify privacy and data protection considerations
  • Translate regulatory, policy, and governance requirements into practical delivery requirements
  • Support the documentation of requirements, controls, decisions, and design implications in a clear and structured way
  • Contribute to discussions around data governance, access, accountability, retention, and appropriate use of patient information
  • Help ensure privacy by design principles are considered across architecture and processing decisions
What we are looking for
  • Experience in data privacy, data protection, data governance, or information governance roles
  • Strong experience gathering and defining requirements in complex change or transformation programmes
  • Good understanding of how personal data requirements should be reflected in platform design, data processing, and operational workflows
  • Experience working with sensitive or regulated data, ideally within healthcare, public sector, or highly governed environments
  • Ability to work across business and technical teams and communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence in documenting requirements and decisions clearly
  • Available to start next month
  • London-based, or able to travel to London as needed for hybrid working
Nice to have
  • Previous NHS or public sector experience
  • Experience supporting healthcare data platforms, patient data programmes, or similar public sector transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with UK data protection requirements and governance considerations in health settings
  • Experience working on Proof of Concept, discovery, or early-stage design activity
Why this role?
  • Opportunity to support a major NHS data and transformation programme
  • High-impact work at an early stage of platform and use case design
  • Strong potential to shape how privacy and governance are embedded from day one
  • Six-month initial contract with immediate relevance and visible value
