As a Data Platform Architect, you will:

Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.

Architect secure and scalable VPCs, subnets, and security groups.

Implement IAM policies, roles, and encryption strategies using AWS KMS.

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.

Monitor and optimize system performance using Amazon CloudWatch and Dynatrace.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Support big data processing using Amazon EMR and Apache Spark.

Integrate data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and data warehousing with Amazon Redshift.

Work with data governance tools such as Informatica (EDC, AXON, IDQ) and Denodo.

Enable business intelligence and analytics using Power BI and SAS Viya.

Ensure compliance and auditing using AWS CloudTrail and AWS Config.

Integrate legacy systems using IBM MQ and support API-based communication.

The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on AWS.

Strong knowledge of AWS core services including compute, storage, networking, and databases.

Experience with serverless and event-driven architecture using AWS Lambda.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with data engineering and analytics platforms.

Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Set yourself apart:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.

Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, or EKS).

Background in data governance and metadata management.

Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
