Data Oversight Consultant

At SOTEC Consulting - Astek Group , we are looking for a Data Oversight Consultant expertise to join our team and develop their career in tech projects.

Experience: 4 years

100% remote

Mandatory Skills:

• Intermediate knowledge of structured data, relational databases (SQL), repository tolls and metadata.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand data risk appetite and design appropiate mitigating controls.
• Able to create comprehensive process documentation to meet relevant requirements (e.g. SoX).
• Ability to identify data quality problems, perform root cause analyses and determine a business impact for data defects.
• Able to use appropiate tools to create management and executive reporting of applicable controls and control outcomes.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Ability to select the most appropiate tools and techniques to ensure data quality in business processes and data flows.
• Knoledge of internal policies applicable to data (e.g. Data Management & Data Governance)

Responsabilities:

• Designing and implementing controls.
• Support the UAT testing of implemented controls.
• Ensure controls have been implemented up to standards.
• Ensure controls documentation is updated in a regular basis.
