Overview

The Bedfordshire and Luton Biodiversity Recording and Monitoring Centre (BRMC) is seeking an individual to join our team to assist in processing and providing data to support future management, planning, and research across Bedfordshire and Luton.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Manage BRMC's data request service, providing data for external clients to inform management decisions, planning applications, and research.
  2. Collaborate with the BRMC Data Manager to process species data collected by local partners, such as the Bedfordshire Natural History Society.
Candidate Requirements
  • Interest in wildlife and conservation issues; previous experience in biodiversity data management is preferred.
  • Strong data management and GIS skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and organization.
Work Environment and Travel

BRMC is hosted by the Wildlife Trust BCN and based at Priory Country Park. Hybrid working options are available, including working from other offices. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, and events across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire.
