We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Vaccine Group in the Department of Paediatrics as a Maternity Cover Data Manager. You will be responsible for all data management activities throughout the clinical trial lifecycle and will report to the Director of Programming and Data Management. The role is full time on a fixed term maternity cover contract, initially one year or until the substantive postholder returns.
Responsibilities- Manage all data management activities throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
- Liaise with study teams, advise on data workflows and develop and maintain SOPs.
- Collaborate with the Programming and Development team to build and support study databases using EDC systems such as REDCap.
- Support multiple studies concurrently within a dynamic and friendly team.

- Degree in computer science, biomedical sciences, statistics or a related field, or equivalent experience in clinical trial data management.
- Proven experience in data management or database development with electronic data capture systems.
- Extensive experience building and managing study databases, developing and documenting data management processes and SOPs.
- Good understanding of regulatory frameworks governing data management and information governance.
- Strong initiative, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload with minimal supervision.
Full time fixed term maternity cover contract (initially one year or until the substantive postholder returns). Salary range: £35,681 - £41,636 with a discretionary range up to £45,212 per annum.
