Data Management Lead | Manchester (Hybrid) | £75k plus benefits | Fixed Term Contract

A large organisation is strengthening its core data capabilities and is looking for someone to take ownership of a key Master Data platform. The role sits at the point where technology, operations and business decision making meet. You will guide how the platform develops, how it is used across teams, and how it supports wider data strategy.

This is a twelve month fixed term contract with clear intention to become permanent.

What the role involves

- Setting the direction for the platform and shaping the roadmap
- Working with technical delivery teams to design and enhance features
- Ensuring high availability, strong performance and secure operation
- Leading the response to issues and driving continuous improvement
- Supporting business teams to adopt the platform and get real value from it
- Managing relationships with external partners and technology vendors
- Prioritising platform improvements based on business need

What will help you succeed

- Experience working with a Master Data Management platform
- Understanding of data models, data quality and governance principles
- Confidence working with both senior stakeholders and technical teams
- Ability to balance long term strategic thinking with day to day operational ownership
