An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Stockport Talking Therapies Department as an inputter/Receptionist, that will be based in the Psychological Therapies Reception and Administration office.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for accurate and timely date inputting, ensuring patient records are updated accuraatly. Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, covering the Psychological Therapies Reception, sending appointment text alerts, along with other duties to ensure that the department meets all customer and patient services.

You should have excellent IT, communication and administration skills. We are seeking for someone that is organised with a meticulous approach to work with attention to detail. You will be proactive and able to manage your own working time effectively.

Person specification Education and Qualifications
  • GCSE Mathematics and English
  • Knowledge and experience in administration, data inputting, reception
  • Awareness of PCMIS
Experience
  • Well developed, assertive interpersonal skills for working face-to-face and over the phone with service users, and other professionals e.g. G.P.s and Social Services personnel
  • Experience of working in administration an/or reception
  • Experience of working within a Health and/or Social Care setting
Knowledge
  • Understand boundaries and work within service and organisational confidentiality policy and procedures
  • Knowledge of room bookings
  • Knowledge of database systems
  • Understanding of stock control
Skills
  • Ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to remain calm under busy and often stressful working conditions
