Data Governance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance controls in line with internal standards.
• Support regulatory change initiatives, including Product Sales Data (PSD) reporting.
• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and quality reporting using tools like Alteryx and SQL.
• Work closely with business units to identify and resolve data issues.
• Document regulatory data provisioning obligations and maintain the Data Dictionary.
• Create test cases, dashboards, and visual data tools for non-technical stakeholders.
• Track compliance with data governance standards (e.g., CDE, DQ Issue Management).
• Support delivery of quarterly reports and contribute to business readiness.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance, data quality, or regulatory reporting.
• Strong technical skills with tools like Alteryx, Tableau, SQL.
• Experience designing data quality controls and dashboards.
• Ability to translate technical findings for business stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and data analysis skills.
• Background in financial services or banking preferred.
• Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
