Data Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid) with occasional client travel
Salary: Up to £60,000

We are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join a growing consultancy, delivering production-grade data platforms for some of the UKs leading organisations.
This is a client-facing role where you'll design and build scalable cloud-based data solutions, working with modern technologies including AWS, Databricks and Agentic AI. you'll benefit from structured training, clear career progression and the opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop robust data architectures and support the full software development life cycle.
• Build tooling for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and data quality.
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Explore and apply emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, to improve data engineering processes.

About You you'll have:

• 2-4 years experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL and DBT.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Databricks.
• Knowledge of AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK, Git and modern development practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for emerging technologies, particularly Agentic AI, and a customer-focused approach.
