BI/Data Engineer
Amsterdam - hybrid working
Salary: £70-80k + package

My growing Technology Consulting client are looking for a skilled BI Engineer to join their team located in and around Amsterdam, on a hybrid working pattern!

Responsibilities:

• As a BI Engineer you will help our clients with their BI issues.
• Help clients where data-driven working is still in its infancy with setting up a BI environment
• Optimize the ETL processes
• Working with PowerBI or Tableau, ideally with exposure to implementation
• Your interests and development are central. Of course we take your wishes, place of residence into account and ensure sufficient variety. Together we will make a difference with data for great clients, from start-ups to international corporates.

Requirements:

• Fluent Dutch speaking and writing is a must!
• You have at least 4 years of full-time work experience as a business analyst in a data environment.
• Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS or GCP;
• Experience with Data Lake(house) tools such as Azure Synapse, Databricks or Snowflake;
• Developing and optimizing ETL & ELT processes with tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory;
• Extensive experience with SQL (experience with Python is an advantage);
• Experience with implementing BI dashboarding tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and Qilk;
• You are a sparring partner for both business and technology and provide advice on how data can help create more value.
