About the Role

Laya Healthcare isseeking a detail-oriented Data Controller to join our Customer Service team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrityof data andaccuracy, and reliability of electronically generated data across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating system-generated data, supporting reporting processes, and working closely with internal stakeholders to uphold the highest data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and control electronically generated data and reports in line with operational schedules
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all data outputs
• Verify data by cross-checking with originating departments or sources
• Prepare and distribute validated reports to management on a regular basis
• Support validation processes for inpatient and outpatient claims, including EFT file generation
• Act as a key point of contact for resolving data integrity issues with stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance data validation efficiency
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required
• Adhere to defined validation procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial services or a similar regulated environment
• Experience in data validation, reporting, or working within a quality-focused environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to challenge and prevent the release of invalid or incomplete data
• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (minimum requirement)
• Third-level qualification (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) desirable
• Advanced Excel skills are essential
• Experience with Avondhu or similar systems is an advantage
