The role

We are seeking professionals with a strong Data Architecture background, ideally those currently working as Data Architects but with a solid foundation in Data Engineering and the ability to perform low-level tasks (eg, SQL on Teradata). This role requires someone who remains hands-on with Teradata to a certain extent.

We are also open to candidates who have transitioned from Data Engineering Lead roles into Data Architecture and may have only a few years of experience as Data Architects.

Candidates should be comfortable performing some hands-on work (approximately 20-40%) while demonstrating expertise in Teradata, financial services data models, and ETL tools such as Informatica.

Important Note:

This role does require a level of hands-on work, so candidates must be prepared for this. It is a key requirement for the position.

Minimum Experience

• 5+ years as a Data Architect

Core Skills

1. Teradata - Must be highly proficient, including the ability to run queries and perform low-level work when required.
2. Teradata Financial Services Data Model - Mandatory.
3. Teradata GCFR Framework - Added advantage.
4. ETL Tools - Knowledge of Informatica and DataStage is a plus.
5. Medallion Data Architecture - Required.
6. Data Analysis & Data Modelling - Strong understanding.
7. Data Engineering Background - Solid experience from previous roles.
8. Control-M - Must have or at least working knowledge.
