It's an exciting time at Bank of ireland UK, we are currently migrating and updating our data solution as part of our strategic objective to drive the business to a data-led culture through analytics. You will work alongside our Data team as we continue to develop and maintain a robust data platform; creating new, impactful reporting with clear insights, backed up by quality data.

This is a 12 month fixted term contract
In this role, you will:- Reviews and migrates existing reports to improved versions on updated tooling.
Works with business users to identify and fulfil demand for new reporting, at times for regulatory compliance.
Adept at requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
Executes and maintains User Acceptance Testing of data and reporting
Produces well-structured data documentation for both technical and front end users
Monitors and escalates change requests, working with leadership to identify business risk and impact before implementation
Embraces agile working practices and pro-actively identifies improvements to data processes.
Ensures data quality and integrity of reporting. Manage and maintain existing reports and ensure timely report deliverables
We are looking for a stand out candidate that has proven experience as a Data Analyst and is comfortable using Teradata and Tableau. You will have strong coding experience in SQL with demonstrable hands-on experience in handling large volumes of data from multiple Data sources, writing advanced SQL and query optimization.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and excellent presentation and communication skills to articulate clearly and accurately to Stakeholders across the bank. You will be able to work independently, setting key priorities to meet with deadlines adhering to principles and have the ability to translate business requirements into clear and concise reports and visualisations
- Experience within the Financial sector
- SAS, SQL
- Excel - Advanced formulas, pivot tables etc, Data Visulisation and database knowledge
- Analytical skills; critical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail
- Communication skills - Data Storytelling, report writing and stakeholder collorabation

The team provides a key set of data, digital and analytics delivery services, embedded in customer insight, across BOI UK.
This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring in-office presence twice a week to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support business decision-making. Primary offices located at Belfast, London or Bristol.
