Job Description

County Cork Area - Ireland: An exciting opportunity awaits the successful candidate.

Our client is looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join the team. The farm is situated close to a popular local town.

This is a 2-year fixed term contract position with the potential of becoming permanent.

This position would be best suited to a single person due to accommodation available on the farm.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have a valid passport or work permit.
  • Agricultural Diploma/Degree highly advantageous.
  • Min of 1 year previous dairy / livestock experience.
  • Previous experience with milking of cows.
  • Must have a passion for dairy cows.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Great stockman.
  • Mechanically orientated.
  • Experience with tractors essential.
  • EU passport advantageous, but not essential.
