Daily Maternity Nanny needed in mid June, based in Hertfordshire

Overview

Second time parents seek experienced temporary daily support while the mother is away for 7 days. The father will manage overnight care of the 3.5 month old baby alongside caring for the older sibling. The baby is bottle fed, thriving, and in a well established routine, though beginning sleep regression. The father will manage nursery drop offs and pick ups for the toddler during the week and requires additional support over the weekend. This is a live out role.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for the infant while the mother is away.
• Assist with the older sibling's care and support the father as needed.
• Handle all nursery duties for the toddler and support during drop offs/pick ups.
• Maintain a calm, proactive, and supportive approach.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Maternity Practitioner (L3 or higher) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in maternity and newborn care.
• 12 hour paediatric first aid certification, enhanced DBS, and safeguarding L2.
• Confident working on sole charge basis.
• Experience caring for young babies and toddlers.

Job Details

Start Date: 18th June - End Date: 25th June. Location: St Albans, Herts. Gross hourly rate: £20ph. Hours: 9am-7pm. 7 days required. Self employment: issue own contract and UTR. Accommodation provided daily. Pets: one Cavapoo dog and one cat. No driving required.
