Our client is a leading Microsoft Partner delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes across the UK. With a strong reputation in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, they work with complex organisations to modernise finance functions, optimise processes, and drive long-term value.
As a Principal Finance Consultantyou will play a critical leadership role within the professional services practice. You will combine deep functional expertise with strategic thinking, leading client engagements end-to-end while mentoring consultants and shaping best practices across the organisation.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility alongside collaboration with teams and clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities Client Delivery & AdvisoryLead the design and delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations finance solutions across multiple workstreams
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (Finance Directors, CFOs, Programme Sponsors)
Translate complex finance requirements into scalable, best-practice D365 F&O solutions
Own solution architecture and functional design across core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, etc.)
Support pre-sales activities including solution shaping, estimates, and client presentations
Provide functional leadership across the Finance F&O practice
Mentor, coach, and develop consultants at varying levels of seniority
Lead by example on delivery quality, stakeholder management, and professional standards
Contribute to methodology, accelerators, and IP development
Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability growth within the practice
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and escalations
Drive continuous improvement across delivery approaches and client outcomes
Extensive experience delivering Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions
Strong background in finance processes and Accounting
Proven leadership experience within consulting or professional services environments
Experience leading client engagements and managing senior stakeholders
Ability to mentor and develop consulting teams
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Involvement in large-scale or multi-country D365 F&O implementations
Microsoft certifications in D365 Finance
Experience contributing to practice growth or capability strategy
Senior leadership role within a respected Microsoft Partner
