Hiring: Senior ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - NIS2 Compliance (Permanent Role Only)


Location: Belgium (Hybrid - 2 days/week on-site)

Contract Type: Permanent (No Freelancers)

We're looking for a Senior ISO 27001 Lead Implementer with strong expertise in NIS2 Directive compliance to help drive the implementation and maturity of our client's Information Security Management System (ISMS).


Your Mission


  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of an ISO 27001:2022-compliant ISMS.
  • Ensure full alignment with NIS2 Directive requirements (Annex I & II).
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to support continuous improvement.
  • Advise stakeholders on risk, architecture, and compliance priorities.
  • Support external audits and guide internal teams on best practices.
  • Provide expert training and guidance to cross-functional teams.


Your Profile


  • Certified ISO 27001:2022 Lead Implementer and/or Lead Auditor.
  • Strong experience in NIS2 Directive implementation and EU cybersecurity regulation.
  • Background in information security (min. 5 years), with solid ISMS expertise.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
  • Telco or critical infrastructure experience is a strong asset.
  • Skilled communicator, able to translate technical risks into business terms.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and delivery-focused.


️ Languages


  • Fluency in English is required. French and/or Dutch is a strong plus.
