KEY RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS:

Vulnerability Management & Incident Response:

• Conduct regular CVE reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities affecting the client's systems.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and provide in-depth analysis of internal and external threat vectors. Propose expert solutions to mitigate, avoid, and prevent exploitation. Knowledge of Yara rules will be considered an advantage.
• Follow up on patch management, ensuring security-related changes are tracked throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
• Follow up on security breaches or incidents and develop response plans to minimize impact and ensure rapid recovery.

Threat Detection & Monitoring:

• Manage security monitoring tools (e.g., WSUS, Tenable) to identify, report, and validate potential threats to the client's environment.
• Analyse security logs and reports to detect, investigate, and mitigate suspicious activities.
• Validate the completion of patching by providing the client with a report that includes logs and screenshot evidence.
• Prepare vulnerability reports evaluating both internal and external threat vectors for the organization.
• Produce system-specific monthly security reports detailing the organization's security posture by collecting data both manually and automatically using relevant tools.

Other Security-Related Tasks:

• Participate in various security-related tasks to maintain and enhance the organization's security integrity.
• Propose improvements to the security team's effectiveness and the client's overall security posture.
• Demonstrate initiative and motivation in addressing security challenges.
• Work effectively in a highly demanding environment.
• Propose and implement automation and other improvements to enhance client services.
• Review and report on system hardening techniques.

Essential knowledge / experience:

• University computer engineering degree and relevant experience in IT.
• More than 5 years of security expertise in different areas (infrastructure/systems, applications, network security).
• At least 3 years of experience working in Cybersecurity Architecture.
• Specialist in security technologies. Web / cloud-based security technologies and complex security solution design & review / implementation background is mandatory.
• Expertise with threat modelling and security architecture design (HLD, LLD).
• Knowledge of Security Management standards such as OWASP, NIST, ISO, Cloud Alliance, PCI DSS, MITRE.
• Ability to define technology security considerations
• Experience with MS security components: MDCA, MDE, MDI, NDR, identity protection, etc.
• Experience with KPI's infrastructure and calculation, authorization model and dashboards.
• Experience in a client-facing role.
• Experience working in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

Language skills: English C1 or higher.
