Cyber Security Consultant (Risk & Advisory)
Central London (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Up to £50,000 + benefits
An established and growing cyber security consultancy is looking to hire a Cyber Security Consultant to join their client-facing advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in cyber risk, compliance, or security consulting who is looking to broaden their experience across a diverse client base.
You'll be joining a recognised cyber security practice, working with organisations ranging from high-growth businesses to more mature enterprises across multiple sectors. This role offers strong exposure, variety, and the chance to make a real impact on client security strategies.
The RoleThis is a hands-on consulting position where you will:
- Deliver cyber security assessments, audits, and control reviews
- Identify risks and provide clear, pragmatic recommendations
- Support clients in aligning with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and Cyber Essentials
- Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Produce high-quality reports, risk assessments, and advisory outputs
- Contribute to client growth, proposals, and thought leadership
- 2-4 years' experience in cyber security, GRC, or risk advisory
- Experience working with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, or similar
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in a client-facing or consulting environment (preferred)
- Ability to balance technical understanding with business risk
Nice To Have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
- Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of SIEM, vulnerability management, or security tooling
- Any exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Work across a variety of clients and industries (no being stuck on one project)
