Cyber Security Architect/Consultant - French Speaking - Long-Term Contract - Defence/Space/Telecoms

We are currently supporting a major client in the defence and space sector who are delivering a large-scale, multi-year programme focused on secure satellite and communications systems across Europe. This initiative is based in France and involves long-term work on national and EU-level projects in the areas of space, telecoms, and public sector security.

The consultant will be responsible for assessing, designing, and evolving the security architecture for the programme. This includes conducting detailed risk assessments, identifying technical vulnerabilities, and designing end-to-end security solutions that align with both business and regulatory requirements. The consultant will also work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders in France to gather requirements and ensure the final architecture is properly documented and compliant with national and EU standards.

To be successful in this role, the consultant must have strong experience as a Cyber Security Architect or Consultant, ideally within space, defence, satellite, telecommunications, or public sector environments. Key technical skills include risk management (preferably using EBIOS), infrastructure and network security, and understanding of threat mitigation. Experience with 5G security is advantageous.

Fluency in French is required, and the role will require 2-3 days per week on-site at the client's location in France.
