About the Role
As a result of expanding product development and an acquisition , we need a CX Developer to help us create the next version s of our products .
The role fits inside the "CX Products Team ", who develop and maintain a variety of different products that integrate with Genesys . This role will focus on contributing towards the development of the next version of CX Vizz . There will also be opportunities to work on other CX Products , as well as customer projects .
CX Vizz is a Data extraction tool that enables data visualisation and dashboard application s using databases which it populates. It downloads data from Genesys (and a few other cloud services). It runs both inside customer networks, and in our own cloud environment. It is written in C# and is almost entirely back-end software.
The other CX Products are built on top of Genesys Cloud Contact Centre, and use their APIs, are written using C# .NET Core and JavaScript technologies and significantly enhance our Genesys capabil it ies . All our products are available via the Genesys AppFoundry and some are also available from the Microsoft AppSource marketplaces, as well as sold directly.
Currently, we have four other CX products:
CX Translate - a translation tool which enables automated translation between over 70 languages for web-chat , WhatsApp and Facebook messenger interactions
CX Connect with Dynamics- an integration between Genesys Cloud Contact Centre and Microsoft Dynamics which enables both to be used together seamlessly.
CX Desktop Bridge - an SDK which enables Genesys Cloud's browser based u ser interface to expose events and API calls to the agent's desktop session so that legacy applications can be integrated to Genesys .
CX Email Expert- an enhancement to Genesys' existing email capability that adds the ability to park and resume emails, and for supervisors to manage and redirect emails.
Additionally, we create and support a small number of custom software development projects which are for a specific customer. We also manage and maintain infrastructure in AWS and Azure to run these applications.
You will work as part of a small team, currently consisting of 5 others, working together to design and implement new features, identify and fix defects, and create new products.
Your Part to Play
As part of a new team, you will work with the Product Owner to deliver new features and help the Service Desk with customer tickets when needed.
You will also contribute towards the technical design of products with the Product Director and the rest of the team. This includes conducting and organising research on the best way to achieve a particular technical goal, understanding customers' business requirements, and providing timescale estimates.
The role is preferably hybrid but can be remote based on experience.
All about You
You must have:
Experience with .NET, C# preferably also with experience of using Postgres and Microsoft SQL databases.
Experience with front-end technologies including Javascript
Ideally you will also have:
Knowledge on how to build and deploy docker containers
Some experience of Cloud hosting technologies, particularly using Amazon Web Services i.e AWS ECR/ECS/EC2/RDS
Experience of call centres and an understanding of telephony
