Customer Team Member
Location: 7 The Centre High St, Polegate, BN26 6AQ
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: Monday and Tuesday, 5:30am to 2pm and Sunday, Thursday and Friday 3pm to 10:15pm, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift.
Full, paid training provided.
You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve either working before 6am or after 10pm, or other business related needs.
As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. You will provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, and perform a wide range of other tasks around the store such as restocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.
Responsibilities- Provide friendly and thoughtful service, putting customers first: respond to queries, champion Co op products and Membership, work in the in store bakery, and deliver a great shopping experience.
- Support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
- Ensure the store is safe and legal: keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
- Help introduce new products and services, making changes feel natural and sharing experiences with your colleagues.
- Support your local community by getting involved in activities and events.
- A genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
- Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- A positive approach to change and problem solving.
