Job Description
Customer Team Leader

Location: 12 Ritchie Street, West Kilbride, KA23 9AL

Pay: £14.48 per hour • Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent part time

Working pattern: mix of opening, closing, and mid day shifts, with at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Friday after 6pm, Saturday or Sunday shifts available.

About the role

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast paced Co op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on the store, you may work in the post office, bakery, online services or support home delivery drivers. You will play a key role in making life easier for customers.

You'll keep shelves stocked, support sales, and help us offer new services. You'll be a familiar face in the community, helping to maintain connections with local and national charities, and champion Co op membership growth.

What you'll do
  • Own the day to day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
  • Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
  • Work hands on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
  • Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
  • Champion Co op through community engagement and membership growth
