Job Description

Anderson Knight is delighted to be supporting a leading financial services provider in the recruitment of a Customer Support Advisor to join their growing team in Finnieston.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in financial services, customer support, or regulated environments who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused role.

As a key member of the Customer Support Team, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service throughout the customer journey, ensuring all interactions meet regulatory standards and reflect the company's values.

Location:Finnieston, Glasgow (Hybrid)

Salary:£23,000

Hours:35 hours per week (rotating shifts between 8am-8pm, Mon-Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service across multiple communication channels.

• Manage and process daily customer support tasks within agreed timelines.

• Handle direct debit collections, issue welcome packs, and send regulatory statements.

• Accurately update customer records and process settlement quotes in line with team KPIs.

• Manage queries and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution in line with company procedures.

• Comply with FCA regulations relating to early terminations, cancellations, and vehicle finance processes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all customer communications and actions taken.

• Submit credit reference agency files and daily asset registration data to relevant parties.

• Protect customer data and ensure all activity aligns with GDPR requirements.

• Support reporting and data tracking efforts to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within financial services.

• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Consumer Credit Act).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A team player with a positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
