About the Role

The Success Architect is a specialized cloud solutions expert within the Customer Success organization. The role supports Salesforce's most critical and strategic customers by delivering expert guidance on solution design, architecture, security, scalability and application lifecycle management. The Success Architect works closely with support engineers, customer success managers and product teams to resolve technical challenges, recommend improvements, and influence product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with strategic customers to assess Sales Cloud implementations and deliver technical architecture recommendations, solution design, and lifecycle management advice.
  • Serve as a trusted Sales Cloud subject matter expert, providing proactive and reactive guidance on architecture and product strategy.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Identify capability gaps, design inefficiencies, and recommend product enhancements or custom solutions that drive adoption and success.
  • Apply Success Architect playbooks to meet unique challenges and opportunities of Sales Cloud customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to influence product improvement and drive business growth.
Basic Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software, system or enterprise architecture.
  • Expertise in Salesforce products, platform capabilities, governance and best practices.
  • Experience with large scale, complex implementations, including multi tenancy and multi tier infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of integration, data management, AI, analytics and security best practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to present complex concepts to business and executives.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, and ability to influence decisions.
Preferred Requirements
  • Expertise in Sales Cloud features (opportunity, forecasting, email integration, Einstein Conversation Insights, Sales Engagement, Sales Performance Management).
  • Experience configuring and optimizing advanced Sales Cloud features.
  • Design and manage data models, relationships, validation rules and governance.
  • Experience with data import/export, deduplication, ETL tools and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Security and scalable architecture knowledge: roles, sharing, permissions, compliance, Large Data Volume considerations.
  • Hands on Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and ability to develop efficient code.
  • Integration with external systems via OAuth, Platform Events, External Objects and middleware.
  • Other business level language skills (e.g., Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French).
Certifications
  • Required: Salesforce Admin, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1.
  • Desired: Certified Architect Credentials (Application and System Architect).
