Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Any 5 from 7, 9am - 5pm
Location: Skelmersdale - WN8 8DY

We're now looking for a Customer Service Clerk to manage queries between customers, merchants, and internal teams, delivering timely, accurate responses while supporting smooth communication and issue resolution across a fast-paced warehouse operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • To manage and respond to customer and merchant queries, acting as a key point of contact between DHL, merchants, and end customers
  • To ensure all queries are acknowledged or resolved within agreed SLAs, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
  • To investigate and resolve issues using warehouse management systems, liaising with inventory teams and, where required, carrying out on-floor investigations to support query resolution
  • To maintain accurate records of all interactions and updates within systems, ensuring clear communication and traceability
  • To support smooth operational flow by effectively coordinating communication between customer service, operations, and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role within a warehouse or supply chain environment
  • Strong IT skills, with proven experience using Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships between customers, merchants, and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve queries in a timely manner within tight SLAs
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple queries and priorities effectively
