About the role: The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service as the first point of contact for customers. On a day-to-day basis you will be dealing with new sales enquiries, existing policy changes and claims. All with a "can-do" attitude and proactive enthusiasm. Your core activities include: • Responding to customers' enquiries over the telephone • Supporting customers that visit the office • Identifying and calling prospective customers to offer NFU Mutual Products and Services • Reviewing and advising customers on their general insurance requirements • Enabling cross-selling opportunities to new and existing customers • Processing and dispatching renewal documentation • Developing and sustaining effective working relationships with customers and staff About you: The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and have an excellent telephone manner and be willing to go above and beyond to provide a first-class customer experience. They will enjoy working in a busy team environment and be keen to support the growth of the business. The candidate must hold: • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, at Grade C or above (or equivalent) • Competent user of MS Office applications • Be able to work as part of a small, motivated team with confidence and be self-motivated • Excellent communication skills and strong telephone manner The candidate would ideally hold: • 12 months experience in a sales environment • Have proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets, including outbound calling • Previous insurance experience • Previous use of Customer Relationship Management systems • Knowledge of agricultural Our commitment to youYou can expect full training in a professional, hardworking, friendly and supportive environment.
