Job Description

Candy World Ltd is a fast-growing pushchair manufacturer based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. We manufacture and sell, our very high end and designer lead brand worldwide.

An opportunity has now arisen for a Full-Time, Customer Service Team Advisor, to work within a small, busy, customer service department.
This role predominantly involves:

  • Responding to a high volume of product and order related emailed enquiries (and telephone calls), both from direct customers and retailers, within specific, contractual SLA's. (experience preferred)
  • Responding to verbal and written complaints, in a timely and professional manner (experience preferred)
  • Dealing with follow up calls from emails and website forms
  • Dealing with after sales/warranty queries, (responsible for specific retailers, following sucessful completion of product and system training)
  • Escalating and liaising with relevant departments, with any technical/service/sales/product issues, which may arise.
  • Logging and updating customer information and orders
  • Tracking and processing new orders and refunds
  • Entering orders, checking availability and prices of products
    Booking and chasing, collections and deliveries
  • Assisting with, (when necessary), any general customer service administration
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, (grammar and spelling).
  • A team player, must be able to work as part of a team and assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

The successful candidate must be computer literate, well organised and have an excellent telephone manner. (Experience of using a CRM system would be beneficial).
A quick learner, you must be able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload.

The role will involve being in the office for five days a week, for the first six months, after which, following successful completion of your probationary period, we will be able to offer 'hybrid' working, which offers working from home for two days a week.

Hours. Mon - Thurs. 9.00 - 5.00pm. Fri - 9.00 - 4.00pm. 1 hour lunch.
