An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor within the Insurance Claims team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claims from start to finish, ensuring clients receive clear guidance and a high standard of service throughout the process. You will act as a key point of contact for clients during claims, providing advice, reassurance and efficient case management while liaising with insurers and third parties.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of claims across a range of insurance classes
- Handling claims from first notification through to settlement
- Assessing policy cover and advising clients on how their claim will be handled
- Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and third-party providers
- Keeping clients informed at all stages of the claims process
- Supporting clients with loss mitigation and explaining potential impacts on premiums
- Identifying and escalating complex or high-value claims
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with FCA regulations and company procedures
- Assisting with continuous improvement of processes and client experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritise workload
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
- A professional and empathetic approach to client service
- Basic IT and numerical skills
- Previous experience in insurance or claims handling
- Understanding of FCA regulations or working within a regulated environment
- CII or relevant industry qualifications
- Experience using Acturis
- Background in customer service or administration
- Competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
