Job Description

At Nationwide, a Customer Representative role is responsible for supporting our customers with a range of services across all channels, from transactions at the till and allocated time handling inbound calls, to supporting product applications through digital sales. We provide first class service in person, via phone and online, and you will receive training to deliver this outstanding experience.

This is an important role within the branch and serves as the gateway to protecting and looking after our customers, working closely together as a team.

The position is a 12 month fixed term contract, part time, 31.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. The salary is pro rata if the role is advertised part time.

You must be within a 45 minute commute of the branch you are applying to. If the location is outside this radius, please check our other vacancies that are closer to you.

Training is delivered virtually in branch. The first three weeks are crucial and no holiday is taken during that period.

Responsibilities

The Customer Representative may work on the counter, completing transactions and educating customers on digital services, and easier ways to bank with us. The role may also involve dealing with customer queries through various channels including online and phone, building up knowledge to answer any customer question and ensuring every interaction reflects our customer first behaviours.
