Job Description

Role: Customer Operations Specialists
Location: Tongwell, Milton Keynes - hybrid working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week: 09:00 - 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch and a 15-minute break.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months initially
Basic Rate: £14.77 per hour

Your New Role:
In this role, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our contact centre operations.
This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same. This is a great opportunity to develop a broad skill set and make a real impact where it matters most.
While this role is initially temporary, it provides a strong foundation for starting your career within the company, with the potential to progress into permanent opportunities across the business.

You will be:
* Handling inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
* Managing escalated queries with professionalism, empathy, and sound decision-making
* Identifying and supporting vulnerable customers with care and patience
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues at the first point of contact where possible
* Maintaining a customer first approach while meeting operational targets
* Ensuring all interactions are compliant with FCA requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards

What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Have experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (financial services preferred but not essential)
* Stay calm and resilient under pressure
* Are flexible and adaptable, happy to support where needed most
* Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
* Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, team-oriented culture
* Are motivated by helping customers and delivering the best possible service and outcomes

Compliance & Integrity
You'll work to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with:
* FCA regulations
* Data Protection (DPA)
* Anti Money Laundering
* SAF, ECCD, Code of Conduct
* Anti Bribery and Corruption policies
