About the role:

As part of the Meteringand Settlement Team, the Customer Operations Administrator will;

  • Manage a variety of different worklists with a clear understanding of the differences and how to process each effectively to minimise rework
  • Resolve any issues or queries as requested to support the delivery of team and company objectives
  • Improve our data quality by accurately recording or updating customer and contract data within our systems
  • Validate and process change of tenancies, where appropriate adhering to industry and business guidelines.
  • Escalate accounts where required to third parties and complete the relevant administration tasks, including accounts receivable tasks such as daily banking, write-offs and suspense
  • Co-ordinate lettering and email campaigns where applicable
  • Ensure customer accounts are accurate within the system and meet industry requirements
  • Work closely with third parties to ensure readings are received to ensure customers' accounts remain in a healthy status
Who we're looking for:

To be successful in thisrole you'll ideally have

  • Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role
  • Knowledge of the electricity industry and regulatory frameworks (desirable)
  • The ability to take ownership and challenges the status quo, delivering right-first-time results and great customer outcomes
  • Excellent organisational skills and be adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
