Working pattern

This is a part time position with a contract of 16 hours per week. You must be able to work at the weekend.

As part of your contract, we ask for availability that is, as a minimum, one and a half times your weekly hours. For example, if you were on a 10-hour contract, we would ask for 15 hours of availability. This doesn't mean you will work 15 hours (unless there is overtime available, and this may be offered to you) but your shifts may be placed anywhere within the availability you provide. This helps us build fair, consistent rotas, and ensures we can meet customer demand across the week. With this role being in Retail, you must also be available to work one late night and one weekend day per week.

You will have at least 2 weeks' notice of when your shifts will be. If you can't exactly match the hours and days we are looking for, this can be discussed. We are always happy to hear from you.

The Role - Counters

Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. As a Specialist Customer Assistant, you will be working on our fresh counters within our store including meat, fish, bakery, hot food, cheese and deli.You will work with a variety of raw meat, fish, and dairy products, ensuring all items are handled and prepared to the highest standards. As the role will involve using knives, you must be over the age of 18 to apply.

18 - 20 years: £10.94 p/h

21+: £12.80 p/h
