Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a large Customer Engagement Centre (CEC) as a Customer Engagement Advisor. You will join us on a full-time/part time contract, and you will be based at our Office in Edinburgh.

What you'll do

As a Customer Engagement Advisor, you will keep our customers and stakeholders informed of works and interruptions to provide the best quality service to our customers.

You will work collaboratively and build strong relationships within a team to keep our customers informed at all times.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Manage inbound customer contacts on a range of subjects

Providing customers with information and guidance logged on our internal systems

Working reactively and accurately during operational incidents

Working proactively by collaborating with stakeholders to gather up to date information

What you'll need

Your communication skills, attention to detail and prioritisation will be key in this role. You will have strong verbal/written information management skills and confidently learn to use a range systems and technology. You will use your organisational skills to manage your own workload but work as a team to ensure all tasks are carried out to the highest quality.

Your adaptability will allow you to work reactively when required to meet the needs of our customers and support the needs of your team. With previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
