CSA Design Team Lead - Renewables

Location: Dublin / Any of the offices Nationwide (Hybrid Option)

Salary: €90k-€100k DOE + benefits (bonus, health insurance discount, death in service)

Lead a dynamic team at a leading utility infrastructure consultancy, overseeing the structural design and delivery of HV substation projects across Ireland, the UK, and international markets.

Role:

• Lead and mentor a team of civil / structural engineers delivering substation projects.
• Oversee the design of steel structures, foundations, gantries, and associated civil works.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project resources, technical queries, and design risk assessments.Support site activities and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4+ years' structural design experience, ideally within utilities, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design and relevant design standards.
• Leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
• Full driver's licence required.
