A leading professional services firm is seeking a Credit Control Specialist to join their Financial Operations team in London. This is a Full time role offering a collaborative, supportive environment within a well-established finance department.

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will manage client debt across UK offices, ensuring proactive and effective credit control in line with the firm's policies. You will work closely with partners, managers, and the Cashiers team to maintain ledger accuracy, mitigate risk, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debt Management & Cash Collection: Drive cash collection, minimise aged debt (90+ days), and resolve unallocated cash or overpayments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with partners and clients, providing proactive credit control support and championing the firm's policies.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate collection records, resolve queries promptly, and complete administrative tasks in line with procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to credit control process improvements and support relevant projects.

About You:

• Proven experience in credit control within a professional services environment.
• Experience using Elite 3E and solid knowledge of credit control systems.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills.
• Confident, diplomatic, and client-focused with a collaborative team mindset.
• Flexible, motivated, and results-driven.
