We're working with a growing logistics and distribution business in Cwmbran seeking a Credit Control Manager to lead its credit function and play a key role in supporting continued business growth.
Description
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing the credit control team, improving collection performance and implementing strategies that optimise cash flow while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Credit Controllers
- Reduce aged debt and improve cash collection performance
- Develop and implement collection strategies and policies
- Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports
- Build relationships with key customer accounts
- Partner with operational and finance stakeholders
- Lead process improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Monitor risk and ensure compliance with credit procedures
- Support wider finance leadership objectives
Profile
About You
- Previous experience managing a credit control function
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial mindset with excellent communication abilities
- Experience within a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive performance and deliver results
