Cover Supervisors

TradeWind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our growing pool of supply staff supporting a variety of secondary schools across Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education, experienced cover supervisors, graduates, or those with transferable experience working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
• Supporting students with questions relating to the work set
• Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour
• Following all school safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting is desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence leading groups of students
• Flexible, adaptable, and professional approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
