Cover Supervisor (Qualified Teacher) - Secondary School

Location: Surrey
Pay: £850 - £925 per week
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week)

We are working with a high-performing and well-respected secondary school in Surrey that is looking to appoint a confident and dedicated Cover Supervisor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This is a full-time opportunity within a school known for its strong leadership, inclusive ethos, and commitment to academic excellence and student development.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education during teacher absences. This is a dynamic and varied position where you will:

  • Lead whole-class supervision across a range of subjects and key stages

  • Deliver structured, pre-planned lessons while adapting delivery to suit different learners

  • Maintain a calm, purposeful, and productive classroom environment

  • Uphold the school's strong behaviour policy and high expectations at all times

  • Support students in staying engaged, motivated, and focused on their learning

  • Build positive relationships with students and staff, contributing to the wider school community

  • Provide detailed feedback on student progress, engagement, and behaviour

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Experience working within a secondary school setting

  • Full right to work in the UK (this role is not suitable for candidates requiring sponsorship)
