Sports Graduate Cover Supervisor - Supply Work in Sheffield

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors with a sports background to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

About the Role

As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with pre set work. Your sporting background will be highly valued, particularly in schools where strong behaviour management, leadership, teamwork, and confidence are essential. You may cover a range of subjects, including PE, and will have the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary schools throughout Sheffield.

Ideal Candidates Will Have
  • A background in sports coaching, sports science, PE, or team leadership
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Confidence leading groups and managing classroom behaviour
  • A proactive, adaptable, and positive attitude
  • An interest in education or becoming a teacher
