The Role
A secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a reliable, confident, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the school from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will provide effective cover for lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and complete work set by their usual classroom teachers. You will supervise classes across a range of subjects, maintain a positive learning environment, and support students in following the school's expectations for behaviour and conduct.
You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, managing classroom behaviour, supporting students with their work, and ensuring a calm and productive learning environment. You will work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure continuity of learning and contribute positively to the wider school community.
