A friendly and well-established primary school in London is looking to appoint an experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week) from September.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence. You will:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

• Manage classrooms effectively, maintaining a calm and purposeful environment

• Ensure pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning

• Apply the school's behaviour policies consistently

• Work across a range of year groups, adapting to different classroom settings with confidence

This is a key role within the school, requiring someone who is self-assured, organised, and able to lead classes independently.

Candidate Requirements:

• A degree in Early Childhood, Education Studies, Maths, English, or a related subject

• Strong academic background, including good A Levels and GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or a qualified teacher (QTS)

• Excellent behaviour management skills - essential

• Confidence in leading classes across different primary year groups

• Strong communication, organisation, and adaptability

• A proactive and reliable approach
