About The Role

The COUPA S2P Programme Lead is responsible for delivering the Procure to Pay (P2P) modules of COUPA while also driving adoption and optimisation of our already implemented Source to Contract (S2C) suite, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned with business requirements. The role ensures a fully integrated end to end S2P process, overseeing solution design, integration, testing, and deployment across a complex, multi entity organisation. A core responsibility is managing our chosen third party SI/implementation partner and driving governance, decision making, and organisational adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of COUPA (design, build, testing, deployment, hyper care, BAU transition).
  • Drive adoption and process optimisation of existing COUPA S2C functionality to ensure end to end alignment.
  • Develop and manage implementation roadmaps, defining clear milestones and dependencies.
  • Own governance, status reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Act as functional SME for COUPA S2P modules (Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, Supplier Management, CLM, Sourcing).
  • Ensure existing S2C outputs (contracts, suppliers, CLM data) integrate effectively with the P2P rollout.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable COUPA configuration and process design.
  • Work with process owners to redesign processes using best practice S2P workflows.
  • Ensure robust, tested integrations with ERP, Finance, HR, and supplier systems.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for implementation partners/SIs.
  • Set delivery expectations and manage partner performance against scope.
  • Review and challenge partner recommendations to protect business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with COUPA Customer Success, support, and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Change & Communications teams on adoption strategy.
  • Support development of training materials, documentation, and user guides.
  • Champion new ways of working across Procurement, Finance, and wider business units.
  • Oversee creation and execution of SIT, UAT, and regression test scripts.
  • Ensure high quality data migration (supplier, contract, catalogue, user data).
  • Lead cut over planning, hyper care, and transition to BAU support.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering COUPA implementations in large, complex, multi entity organisations.
  • Functional knowledge of COUPA S2P modules and Procure to Pay processes.
  • Experience managing third party SI/implementation partners.
  • Ability to manage cross functional stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, IT, Operations).
  • Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow optimisation, and S2P best practice.
  • Experience with ERP integrations (MS Dynamics, CAFM).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities at all levels.
Desirable
  • COUPA Certifications.
  • Experience supporting multi phase rollouts or enhancements.
  • Background in procurement transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI).
